In 2019-2020 we won and successfully delivered a major China business support project for Southampton-based wind power engineering specialists DFS Composites Ltd.
DFS' founder and managing director Feras Yosef said "The first challenge we faced as a small UK SME company was we didn't knw what options we had for doing business in China. But from the first time we met with Matthew and Michelle from Grandage Consulting, we had more confidence, and knew we were going in the right direction".

With the right team of partners in China, we managed to get DFS' new business registered in Changzhou, and fully operational, within 6 months despite Covid-19 arriving on the scene (first in China and then in the UK) just a month after project kick-off. This meant that all the procedures which would normally have been done in-person in China had to me arranged remotely, a challenge that Feras describes in the video.
More excitingly, DFS received the official registration certificate for this new business - Di Feng Yuan 帝风源贸易 （江阴）有限公司 - just in time to allow them to be considered for a major order from a Chinese wind power company. Amazing timing!
