Engaging with Chinese customers at trade events


Exhibiting at a trade show is can be a great way to connect with new customers, but it can be a big investment of time and money too, so when you decide to use this strategy to give your business development a boost, you'll want to make sure that you get the best possible value for your investment.

The massive International Textile & Garment Technology Exhibition (ITMA) in Barcelona is a specially good example, because it only takes place once every four years.

In order to get maximum return for their investment at ITMA this year, one British textile equipment company has, through Chamber International, contracted our Michelle Wang to be part of their exhibition team, specifically to engage with the great number of Chinese representatives who will be there (China is the world's largest buyer of textile equipment), because that company doesn't have any Chinese staff itself. What a good idea!
